Job Purpose and Impact

The Global Talent COE Portfolio and Performance Lead will help lead and provide visibility to the development, management and execution of a global portfolio of projects and programs and will deliver desirable business outcomes in the enterprise to align objectives with the corporate, group and global talent and performance strategy. In this role, you will provide guidance to program or project managers, support project sponsors, drive the advancement of initiatives globally and foster collaborative partnerships across businesses and functions to develop the overall portfolio and program approach.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide advanced knowledge and thought leadership for the portfolio of projects that will be targeted to meet the strategic goals and value targets of the enterprise and ensure portfolio governance is implemented at all necessary levels.

  • Partner collaboratively with enterprise and function leads to provide information for effective decision making as it relates to the overall portfolio, including decisions on prioritization, interdependencies and project rationalization.

  • Regularly review the enterprise portfolio to validate the health of the portfolio and help to resolve roadblocks and escalate as appropriate.

  • Recommend improvements and new developments to mitigate risks, reduce costs and became more agile and efficient.

  • Continuously improve portfolio management practices to meet business objectives.

  • Monitor portfolio and project performance metrics and goals as well as overall business impact of projects within the portfolio and programs and identify variances to plans and take corrective actions as appropriate.

  • Provide expert consultative guidance for initiating strategic long-range goals and objectives. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of eight years of related work experience

  • Experience with program and process methodologies

  • Proficiency with relevant office software for word processing, spreadsheets and presentations

  • Confirmed success in developing, implementing and leading strategic initiatives and a portfolio of project plans

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three years of supervisory experience
