Job Purpose and Impact

The Global Strategic Supply Chain Design Manager, part of the Global Supply Chain Design Team, will lead complex network optimization projects to identify cost opportunities, enable a continuous improvement agenda and guide businesses to make better strategic supply chain decisions.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead strategic network optimization and Supply Chain design projects across Cargill's businesses globally, such as M&A, business synergy and asset footprint optimization.
• Collaborate across functional teams to build  models for network design and optimization work, which includes providing direction to supporting team members.
• Reviews and monitors processes and ensures network design best practices are identified and shared globally.
• Use extensive knowledge of supply chain practices to navigate through data and technology challenges.
• Develop, execute and implement process improvements to drive continuous improvement and establish ongoing supply chain design capabilities across the organization. 
• Provide thought leadership in your field and work independently to leverage both internal and external resources for additional research and interpretation to identify issues and solutions.
• Manage senior business stakeholders and be able to create consensus with insights and data to support the business making the right decisions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field 
• Minimum of six years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Eight years of related experience with at least five in supply chain strategy and network optimization
• Experience in developing and delivering complex supply chain network models
• Deep knowledge of LLamasoft supply chain optimization tools or other similar tools such as LogicNet or JDA Strategist
• Ability to drive change, partner with business teams and to influence decision making across various businesses throughout all levels of the organization
• Previous leadership experience
• Strong knowledge in project management, supply chain and finance
• Strong communication skills including storytelling
