Job Purpose and Impact

The Data and Analytics Consultant will create solutions, drive insights and be part of overall business transformation, as we look to drive more analytical capabilities under the direction of the FIBI Strategic Pricing Center of Excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing design, implementation, and management of pricing and performance Analytics for the Food Ingredients and Bioindustrial (FIBI) Businesses. You will also work closely with individual business pricing and commercial teams, to promote the adoption of our standard analytics platform through the delivery of reliable data and dashboarding capabilities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with businesses, application and process owners, and product team members to define requirements and design solutions for the company’s big data and analytics solutions.
  • Participate in the decision-making process related to the implementation and delivery of performance dashboards and continued support for future releases.
  • Develop technical solutions utilizing big data and cloud-based technologies and ensuring they are designed and built to be sustainable and robust.
  • Perform data modeling and prepare data in databases for use in various analytics tools,configurate and develop data pipelines to move and optimize data assets.
  • Provide necessary technical support through all phases of the analytical build.
  • Actively participate and collaborate with other Center of Excellence (COE) team members during specific business implementations to ensure consistent messaging around overall dashboarding capability build.
  • As a member of the FIBI COE business team, help drive the adoption of new technologies and methods within FIBI businesses.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned




  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Business, Quantitative Finance or related Quantitative field
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Data and Business Intelligence technology experience; Tableau, Power BI, relational databases, data warehousing
  • Ability to gather and document business, analytical and reporting requirements
  • Skilled and data profiling and data analysis
  • Experience with different programming languages; SQL, Python, R, SAS or other statistical analysis tools


  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Business, Quantitative Finance or related Quantitative field
  • Experience with pricing and commercial teams, creating and reviewing sales data, assessing, and making recommendations
  • Knowledge of most of the key concepts related to master data management, data standards and data organizations
