Corporate Development Analyst
Corporate Development Analyst are part of teams involved in executing mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, equity investments and divestitures at every level of the organization.
Principal accountabilities will include:
1.Project execution – qualitative and quantitative data analysis including financial and valuation analysis, conducting and coordinating due-diligence, transaction structuring and documentation, project management including interaction with internal and external parties as appropriate (50%)
2.“Gameboard” development and cultivation – detailed analysis in partnership with businesses and functions to assess market intelligence, external opportunities, industry news and developments in order to develop and cultivate targets (30%)
3.Practice development – Assist in development of the corporate development practice including training, engagement, knowledge management and other initiatives (20%)
•One year of M&A transaction experience (e.g. at an investment bank, private equity firm or corporate development team)
•Ability to travel up to 30%
•Demonstrated leadership and teamwork
•Demonstrated problem solving abilities
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Bilingual and/or international experience
