Job Purpose and Impact

The Enterprise Compensation Consultant II will provide advanced knowledge and thought leadership to understand the company's strategy and develop and execute compensation priorities and consult on key strategic decisions. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for enterprise leadership team members on topics of compensation and will lead the annual compensation processes for the enterprise, including the development of annual compensation plans, targets and compensation recommendations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Consult with the enterprise leadership team and human resource leaders to design and implement a compensation strategy that is aligned with the business strategy and department priorities.
  • Execute global salary, short and long term incentive programs according to total rewards governance and provide insights and critical areas of focus.
  • Consult on the development, implementation and execution of compensation approaches, policies, programs and processes.
  • Use department reports and metrics to guide human resources, business leaders and managers in approaches for their business.
  • Lead compensation related projects, which can include compensation analytics, incentive design and implementation projects to support the total rewards priorities and global business strategy.
  • Create and deliver communications regarding strategies, policies, programs and processes to employees, business leaders and human resource managers.
  • Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Proficient with Excel and various compensation enablement technologies
  • Proven ability to influence senior level employees through expert consultation
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply


  • Experience managing compensation for a production environment
  • Master's degree or other post-secondary degree
  • CCP or equivalent HR certification
  • Advanced analytic skills and detail oriented
  • Ability to partner and influence employees at all levels of the organization including key business leaders
  • Ability to mentor other members of Total Rewards
  • Global compensation and HR experience in large, complex organizations
  • Strong understanding of and experience in compensation principles and programs including broad-based, long-term incentives and short-term incentives
  • Acting as the compensation lead for a business or complex compensation process. Leading compensation programs in a global environment.
