Job Purpose and Impact

CM&S Buyer - will be responsible for supporting multiple regional and local sourcing activities within the EMEA region focusing on Management Consulting and Financial Services and will actively contribute to the build and execution plans of the  value roadmaps. In this role, you will strategically manage regional stakeholders and key supplier relationships, in alignment with the master category strategies.

Key Accountabilities

  • Leads a complex category; including data and industry analysis; reports results to senior managers.
  • Conduct fundamental procurement processes such as RFI, RQ, RFP, biddings, auctions, bid evaluations, negotiations and contract execution.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and analyze supplier operations to resolve factors that affect prices and the lowest cost, consistent with service level, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
  • Obtain relevant data needed to execute the sourcing process, from stakeholders and market. Contribute towards the analysis of historic spend and existing contracts to build a clear view of addressable spend, that is not handled at a strategic level by category teams
  • Drive the implementation of regional sourcing decisions.
  • Lead key regional supplier and relationships, monitor performance, and make corrections if required. Meets with stakeholder managers to understand business priorities and translate them into Procurement strategies; influence the industry and marketplace within moderately complex marketplace categories
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Ensure the right enablement of the Contracting to Pay process connecting with the appropriated teams and technologies.
  • Work with Category Leads on medium complex projects, lead less complex projects and initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience
  • Mastery in English with excellent communication skills including  presentation and negotiation abilities.
