Job Purpose and Impact

The Regional Technical Leader will lead a team in the execution of innovation goals to achieve established FIBI business strategies in APAC. In this role, you will lead the execution of a portfolio of projects, process improvements and goals supporting business objectives and growth strategies through research and technologies.

Key Accountabilities

    • Lead a high performing, highly engaged team to create vision, strategic workforce planning, organizational development, engagement and communication.
    • Provide leadership and advisory on how to execute on the company's innovation and continuous improvement portfolio to create consistencies and efficiencies.
    • Responsible for the successful completion of selected projects within the global product and continuous improvement portfolio according to agreed time frames and budgets, aligning resources to deliver on strategic plans and develop programs that create operating efficiencies.
    • Partner with business leaders and customers to identify opportunities to leverage emerging research and technology innovations as well as to identify areas for future business growth.
    • Develop and align strategic research plans and priorities across research teams and FIBI businesses to create consistencies and efficiencies, aligning with a "One Research and Development" approach.
    • Ensure programs, processes and control mechanisms comply with laws, regulations and company policies.
    • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.
    • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
    • Fluent in English
    • Research and development work experience (with direct business to business or business to consumer customer experience)
    • Minimum of six years of related work experience
    • Other minimum qualifications may apply

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Master's degree in food scientific discipline
    • Minimum of 10 years research and development work experience in MNC
    • Minimum of 15 years research and development work experience (with direct business to business or business to consumer customer experience) and minimum 5 years in management role.
