Job Purpose and Impact

  • Ensure effectiveness and efficiency of in-country financial control activities through alignment of end to end processes, deployment and stabilization of system implementation and collaboration with teams spanning across product groups, functions, and enterprises. Key focus on talent management, creating process-aligned teams. Responsible for leading the finance strategy in country. Provide assurance that management, USGAAP and statutory financial statements reflect the accuracy & entirety of the business transactions and lead the certification by external auditors. This position will play a key role in transforming current Accounting & Reporting teams into our future state delivery model and structure.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop the strategy, plan and processes to effectively deliver operational excellence on key accounting activities.

  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

  • Lead and provide direction to accounting and finance teams, supervisors, Financial Controllers , analysts and other indirect staff.

  • Provide updated overview of key potential financial risks to businesses, which often cross countries. The financial risks are highlighted through country CRP review process.

  • Actively collaborates in driving process optimization, leveraging of shared services, and improving the efficiency of end to end finance operations.

  • Pro-actively work with business and function stakeholders to support growth and technology changes.

  • Partnership with finance operations to align and support on processes, accountability and capabilities.

  • Create a culture of intellectual curiosity and continuous learning to meet individual development goals.

  • Other duties as assigned.



  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Master's degree in accounting, finance or business administration

  • Minimum of six years of related work experience

  • Minimum three years of supervisory experience

  • Demonstrated ability to create a team culture of continuous improvement, process optimization and intellectual curiosity


  • Transformation/Change leadership experience

  • Strong stakeholder management, preferably in Finance and Controllership

  • Value creation through data strategies, automation, ERP Deployment and technology

  • Experience in key financial control and reporting activities


  • Highly effective leaderships skills which motivated for high performance

  • Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organization, demonstrated change agility

  • End to end process understanding and helicopter view with the ability to deep dive where needed


  • Experience participating in creating and executing the accounting and finance strategy and approach to support the overall finance and business strategies for a global, matrixed company.
