Job Purpose and Impact

The Business Segment Senior Controller & Country Controller will lead a team of accounting and finance supervisors, accountants and other indirect staff to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of day to day accounting activities. In this role, you will contribute to establishing and maintaining accounting policies, fiscal controls and, statutory and internal financial reporting data as well as prepare financial reports and safeguard the organization's assets.


Key Accountabilities

•  Execute moderately complex accounting policies and procedures Support the end to end financial reporting activities for the business segment to ensure timely delivery of accurate generally accepted accounting principles and statutory financial data based on materiality levels defined for external and internal financial reporting.
•  Provide assurance that the business segment financial statements are materially accurate of financial data at the country business segment level and identified significant and unusual accounting matters.
•  Provide support for the external auditors on matters relate to financial audit of the business segment
•  Lead all aspects of the day-to-day accounting operations required to support the business.
•  Coordinate accounting processes that are executed by other accountants.
•  Apply substantial understanding of accounting practices and procedures to guide direct reports on creating technical accounting report packages.
•  Maintain an effective system of internal controls for the country business segment financial reporting including control deficiencies identification and communication to the Regional Group leader.
•  Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.


• Public Accounting professional
• Minimum of four years of related work experience
• Advanced English
• Two years of supervisory experience
• Experience in managing a control framework over financial reporting
• Confirmed experience with generally accepted accounting principles
