Job Purpose and Impact
The Recruiting Coordinator will coordinate a variety of tasks to assist candidates during the recruiting process and the hiring phase. In this role, you will support the recruiting team executing an efficient process, while providing a world class client and candidate experience.
Key Accountabilities
Provide recruiting services such as interviewing and selection processes and offer management, process documentation, compliance management and status communication with candidates to hiring managers.
Assist with local support requests such as onboarding, job bidding process, attendance tracking, hourly performance management, local recognition plan administration and general employee experience support.
Contribute to handling recruiting functions such as interview management, correspondence, background screening processes, pre employment screening, medical review and holds, offer letter preparation and facilitation of new hires.
Support mobile recruitment activities, attend local job fairs and maintain rapport within local communities.
Provide information to employees and managers on payroll matters, tax issues, benefit plans and collective agreement provisions.
Utilize and understand relevant recruitment technology systems.
Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum
High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
Minimum of four years of related work experience
Advanced English
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in human resources or any related certification
Applicant tracking system experience
Knowledge of country specific employment laws
