Job Purpose and Impact

The Recruiting Coordinator will coordinate a variety of tasks to assist candidates during the recruiting process and the hiring phase. In this role, you will support the recruiting team executing an efficient process, while providing a world class client and candidate experience.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide recruiting services such as interviewing and selection processes and offer management, process documentation, compliance management and status communication with candidates to hiring managers.

  • Assist with local support requests such as onboarding, job bidding process, attendance tracking, hourly performance management, local recognition plan administration and general employee experience support.

  • Contribute to handling recruiting functions such as interview management, correspondence, background screening processes, pre employment screening, medical review and holds, offer letter preparation and facilitation of new hires.

  • Support mobile recruitment activities, attend local job fairs and maintain rapport within local communities.

  • Provide information to employees and managers on payroll matters, tax issues, benefit plans and collective agreement provisions.

  • Utilize and understand relevant recruitment technology systems.

  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum

  • High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent 

  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

  • Advanced English 

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or any related certification

  • Applicant tracking system experience

  • Knowledge of country specific employment laws
