JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

The Operations & Supply Chain Smart Manufacturing Product Analyst will use a general understanding of one or more technical disciplines to work with product owners and teams and assist them to define moderately complex product roadmaps and connect iterative discovery, delivery and validation. In this role, you will collaborate with teams and leaders to establish best practices for discovery work, develop a cadence for continuous learning and identify areas to further adopt product thinking. You will contribute to product strategy with a focus on team coaching and mentorship.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide management, best practices and influence to teams, product owners and leaders on moderately complex product roadmaps for one department or area within a business or function in one or more locations.
  • Assist to define product strategies, roadmaps and backlogs that lead to the definition and delivery of impactful user experiences.
  • Partner with business leaders on agile efforts and provide guidance and strategic assistance on the enhancement of product models.
  • Manage the risk in new product efforts through value, usability, feasibility and business testing and measure and report results.
  • Collaborate with users, internal and external personnel, to ensure features fit Cargill standard.
  • Facilitate teams of software engineers to rapidly develop software prototypes, potentially launching them into minimally viable products.
  • Trusted advisor to Product Owners, Data IT Business Partners, Global IT delivery teams
  • Support budgeting an associated financial analysis for the various products in the portfolio
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


•    Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
•    Knowledge of agile methodologies, frameworks and tools.
•    Related work experience in SCADA/MOM/MES.
•    Industry 4.0 knowledge.
•    Other minimum qualifications may apply.
•    Advanced English.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


•    Software engineering principles and practices.
•    Experience assisting on a software product team in development, quality, user experience or project or sprint leadership.
•    Experience working as a product manager, product owner, business analyst or related product role.
