Job Purpose and Impact

The External Manufacturing Senior Analyst will coordinate long term supply chain strategies and across networks. In this role, you will monitor key integrated business planning performance indicators, cost to serve performance data and help coordinate cross functional work teams. You will be the end-to-end process owner for toll manufacturing process setup (partnering with FSQR, Legal, Sales, Sourcing, Vendors, etc) to vet out the business opportunity, select vendor, and ensure processes are understood of how we’ll execute the relationship, issue resolution with vendors.

Key Accountabilities

  • Maintain data relevant to network distribution planning activities including capacity, constraint, logistics, supplier, master and location data.
  • Generate and execute cycle and safety stock plans for the assigned product or location, using the approved supply plan inputs.
  • Develop gap coverage plans during inventory shortages.
  • Create requirements plan and long-term supply plan for assigned products and locations as input for the integrated business planning cycle.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Manage a team of 2 people working with warehouse coordination and SAP activities within that task.
  • Partner with vendors on ingredients or packaging they need to make Cargill products
  • Relationship point of contact for vendor; share forecast to ensure capacity to meet demand
  • Replenish finished goods inventory management of purchased materials
  • Accountable for inventory health, excess, stranded, etc.
  • Cost/market updates for all toll millers for plants/warehouses
  • Submit CRUD requests for product extensions to the plants/warehouses

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six years of experience with at least three in supply and inventory planning.
  • Experience in analytics systems and tools
