Job Purpose and Impact

The Record to Report Analyst II will perform Record to Report (RTR) analysis for a dedicated enterprise on the scope of the center they are based in. In this role, you will perform sub-processes for the assigned enterprise including, general accounting, close process activities, balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining RTR data and reporting activities, tax accounting, cost and profit center allocations and bank accounting. You will partner directly with RTR management to support the weekly and monthly operational reviews and will be responsible for operational processes, procedures, compliance, customer and client interaction, business partnership, financial products and services and systems and data management.

Key Accountabilities

  • Perform standard financial planning and analysis activities, translating financial metrics into key insight for strategic decision making around financial valuation and modeling, scenario planning activities, portfolio reconciliation, valuing cost factors and ratios.
  • Assist more senior team members in implementing key performance indicators to create, maintain and preserve value.
  • Prepare clear presentations, translating financial metrics into actionable insights.
  • Complete ad hoc analysis projects and requests in support of financial, planning and analysis initiatives.
  • Partner with peers in accounting and finance for accurate financial information and data such as, historical reporting, data collection, cost accounting, margin reporting, analysis of data and management reports and activity based costing or cost allocations to products and customers.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and peers to identify process improvement opportunities to data integrity to enable strategic analysis and insights.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a timely manner with required quality level in both a team environment and as an individual contributor
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in shared service operations
