Job Purpose and Impact

The Project Analyst will provide financial analysis support to ongoing projects, closely collaborating with PMO and project teams as key contributor in the whole project cycle, from ideation, planning to execution and post tracking. In this role, you will contribute to review project proposals to ensure it’s consistent with strategy, and fits with business planning and forecasting method. You will also assist in the review and prioritization of projects to align to investment strategies and business priorities.

Key Accountabilities

      • Validate assumptions, set up financial model and business case for project review
      • Conduct corporate level financial analysis, e.g. industry analysis, competitor benchmark, cost efficiency analysis, investment analysis to provide insight and recommendation for business strategic decisions.
      • Actively drive alignment on project KPIs, milestones, regularly review the status and keep project team informed, drive intervention timely when needed. Participate in identifying and resolving obstacles to completing project on time and to budget.
      • Join PMR and DR meetings to provide monetized inputs from AOP projects for monthly forecasting.
      • Sometimes work as project leader/coordinator to organize project teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop project schedules and determine resource requirements.
      • Ensure stakeholders are kept informed of project progress and detailed information is available when required.
      • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
      • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Minimum of 5-6 years of related work experience

Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in the Big 4 Audit Firms Or corporate finance experience in top multi-national company

Experience of participating or leading complex project from ideation to implementation
