Job Purpose and Impact

We are looking for GHRS China Benefits Consultant who will develop and administer employee benefits programs, including implementing new programs. In this position, you will evaluate our current programs through research, surveys and analysis of benefits trends to ensure our plans are competitive and current. You may also coordinate the worker's compensation programs.

Key Accountabilities

  • Design, evaluate and modify benefits policies to ensure programs are current competitive, and in compliance with legal requirements
  • May provide counseling and oversee communications of benefits to employee.
  • Administer, direct and review employee benefit programs, including integration following mergers and acquisitions.
  • Support payroll team to ensure accurate payment, funding and taxation of employee benefit programs.
  • Formulate policies, procedures and programs for benefits.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Will be responsible for policies, leaves, allowances, insurances, etc. include - salary and non-salary part under GHRS scope.
  • Listen to internal voice and identify areas of development, make proposals to get support from TR team and GHRS leadership team on new initiatives, and be responsible for communications with stakeholders and clients.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of total rewards COE or enterprise head quarter experiences to cover country level initiatives
  • Excellent in written and oral English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Human resources certificate
  • Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems
  • Experiences to cover other APAC countries
