Key Accountabilities

  • Audits, Investigation & Monitoring: Participate in Compliance Audits, Investigations, activities by providing support in planning, document reviews, interviews, reports, remediation follow-ups. Support Ethics & Compliance Leaders, Global Security, Regional Investigation Leaders in their investigations as needed. Participate in monitoring and other fraud prevention activities as required.
  • Document policies and procedures related to the ethical standards established by the business.
  • Contribute in developing employee communication and training programs that focus on the elements of a company wide compliance program.
  • Help monitor the organization's standards of conduct and ethical relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, employees and communities.
  • Continue to build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 - 4 years of business/industry work experience with 2+ years of supporting audit / investigation operations.
  • A commitment to the highest level of personal intregrity and demonstrated comfort level with having access to sensitive data
  • Experience with management of auditing/ investigations programs and familiarity with financial data
  • Strong aptitude with Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables and other tools to perform data analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and apply strong strategic thinking/problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including the use of MS Word, SharePoint and other tools
  • Demonstrated change leader and supporting teams dealing with ambiguity
  • Ability and willingness to act independently and take initiative
  • ACFE or similar certification for audit / fraud prevention

Job Purpose and Impact

This role directly supports the Ethics & Compliance Office Operations Team (EC Ops) which is responsible for the administration of Cargill’s Ethics and Compliance program  including support of compliance audits, internal investigations, monitoring, reporting (EOL) and other various compliance projects. The role is specifically aligned against the auditing, investigations, monitoring and reporting  functions of the program, which include concenrtrated support to Ethics & Compliance Leaders and other stakeholders in the region, and general support for other global audits, investigations and monitoring activities including participating with other non-audit portions of the global compliance framework. This role demands someone who can partner effectively with all levels of the organization, drive results, proactivity identify and resolve problems and requires building strong operational relationships.
