Job Purpose and Impact

12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT

This position is in Cargill’s animal nutrition and health business, where we improve lives through better nutrition. Our team researches, innovates and creates solutions that deliver healthy results for our customers.  The division has over 20,000 employees at 280 locations in 40 countries.  We produce nearly 18 million metric tons of feed per year and the work we do touches the plates of more than 1 billion people every day.


The Material Requirements Planner, will plan, schedule and handle raw material needed for production at our plant in Naas. In this role, you will handle material movement with purchasing, warehouse and production areas and handle to established raw material inventory target levels.  You will work with other teams on site as well as vendors, warehouse and logistics providers to help our plant operations run smoothly.

Key Accountabilities

•    Assist in setting, measuring, and meeting material requirements planning metrics targets.
•    Provide necessary input to demand and supply planners and sourcing teams for the site.
•    Maintain data relevant to material requirements planning activities including replenishment parameters, supplier, and material data.
•    Work with cross-functional teams to ensure continuity of manufacturing operations and to maintain customer service levels.
•    Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
•    Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

•    Proven and demonstrable experience in supply chain planning
•    Previous use of SAP or equivalent ERP system in a supply chain role is desirable
