Job Purpose and Impact

The Strategic Marketing Leader will lead all market research and insights activities for the various categories in indulgence (bakery, chocolate confectionary,) and also covering the other categories in food and beverages, feed, industrial in Europe. In this role you will be responsible for creating proprietary insights, analyzing, developing, and implementing strategic marketing plans for the strategic indulgence categories. This role also plays a key role in identifying key growth projects and provides & validates new ideas, concepts and approaches to drive value and meet the needs of our customers. You will establish and lead a marketing team to deploy new customer solutions. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Perform Strategic Market Analysis & Research to create insights: conduct research and analytics for all FIBI categories 
  • Perform market mapping, opportunity space analysis, value proposition development, customer and competitor insight and new product, service or solution development for the focus indulgence categories 
  • Approve the negotiation and selection of business with external vendors and agencies
  • Leverage market, trends, customer, and competitive analysis to define value proposition and support strategic category direction by working closely with the with the category, gourmet organization and regional GTM team  
  • Lead marketing vision and strategy for growth projects in the pipeline by driving specific innovation and growth ideas. 
  • Provide strategic leadership, development and talent management activities for direct reports and their organizations, which may include forecasting resource needs, recruiting, hiring, performance management, training and budgeting. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of eight years of related work experience, five years of supervisory experience
