JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

The LA Infrastructure Manager will provide direction on the delivery of information technology service operations, which primarily consists of overseeing the performance of internal and external service providers.  In this role, you will also provide expert knowledge of information technology practices and standards to build strategic partnerships with the businesses as well as internal information technology platform teams. By understanding business requirements, you will continuously improve the effectiveness of end to end information technology services inclusive of applications, infrastructure and security components.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide expert thought leadership on service strategies across server, database, and network technology areas.
  • Foster strategic partnerships with our internal business clients to establish goals and ensure demand needs are incorporated into service plans.
  • Ensure information technology service operations with internal and external service providers is delivered against targets and contractual obligations.
  • Lead operating reviews with service providers inclusive of continuous improvement.
  • Be a point of contact for major service issue escalation and crisis management response.
  • Lead and influence strategic business investments in server, database, and network technology areas that build additional business capability or enable more efficient operations.
  • Consult on mergers, acquisitions and divestiture planning to ensure technology solutions are properly assessed.
  • Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
  • Other duties as assigned

 


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Solid related work experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience managing network, server, or database technical environments with complex system relationships
  • Experience developing new infrastructure architecture patterns into business environments
  • Experience performing IT strategic planning and roadmap execution
  • Experience leading in a third party managed service environment
  • Vendor relationship and contract management experience
  • Merger, acquisition and divestiture IT project experience
  • Senior Director level presentation experience

PRIOR BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCES

  • Ensure information technology service operations with internal and external service providers is delivered against targets and contractual obligations.
  • Provide guidance on service strategies across infrastructure, applications and security offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal business clients to ensure goals are met and demand needs are incorporated into service plans.

  • Coordinate vendor delivery against service level agreements to achieve results across many cross-functional areas.
