Job Purpose and Impact

As part of the Global IT Business Resiliency team, IT Resiliency Engineer is responsible for aiding the architecture, implementation and testing of the disaster recovery (DR) solutions across the enterprise. This global role partners with cross functional teams to lead them in ensuring their DR solutions meet business requirements and remain in a ready state of preparedness.  

Key Accountabilities

  • Strong technical background/understanding of the technology stack (network, backup, infrastructure, applications, databases, middleware, etc) to ensure an end-to-end perspective is upheld in our DR plans and testing. 
  • Provide thought leadership to plan, build, and manage the design and implementation of enterprise-wide disaster recovery policies, maturity models, methodologies, sourcing strategies, plans, metrics, and scorecards.
  • Proactively communicate status reports, issues, gaps, etc. to stakeholders and/or leadership as needed.
  • Research, evaluate, and report on aspects of the DR processes and procedures
  • Develop educational and training materials for the DR domains, including improving and refining methods and artifacts for Resiliency Management.


  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4 years of related work experience
  • Advanced English
  • Proven track record of success in one or more of the following areas: applications, systems (Windows/Unix), storage, database, data centers, and/or networking.
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Key Behaviors

  • Demonstrated experience with data center operations or data center servers, storage, network infrastructure, backups and/or database technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under stressful conditions, such as business-related crises
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analysis that leads to the development of processes and supporting technical details
