An exciting new role is available at our Melbourne head office in Southbank, Melbourne. We are currently seeking a self-motivated Office Support Lead, to provide high quality, accurate and timely administrative support to the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team.

As the Office Support Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and overseeing the Melbourne office coordination, providing  leadership and management to the reception and administrative support team, and leading the management of significant events for Cargill Australia.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Deal with VIPs, suppliers and any incoming enquiries in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Highlight and pursue opportunities to further streamline Office Services processes
  • Support colleagues to ‘help themselves’ with administration assistance and continue to evole a thriving collaborative culture
  • As our office environment evolves in to its ‘post-covid’ state, provide support to all stakeholders through future changes
  • Provide management support to the office services administration assistant
  • Manage phone, email and internet enquiries professionally and provide a timely resolution to the enquiry or redirect to the appropriate employee for resolution.
  • Manage office maintenance requests, keys, swipe cards etc
  • Assist the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team with any other duties as required
  • Support senior management with light EA duties (mostly travel & expenses) as required
  • Organise and co-ordinate staff meetings and events as required
  • Manage Cargill’s Telstra services/account
  • Manage sublease (billing and relationship) with our office tenant

Qualifications and Skills

Dynamic and hands on, you are an experienced professional, who brings with you:

  • Significant administrative experience.
  • Proficient with modern technology – Microsoft Office/365
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and habit of taking a task to completion without close supervision
  • Able to prioritise multiple tasks with challenging deadlines
  • Ability to resolve problems with demonstrated initiative
  • A positive outlook and the resilience and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, changing business.
