Job Purpose and Impact

As the Regional Distribution Key Account Manager for Cargill Starches, Sweeteners & Texturizers (CSST) Europe, you will be accountable for building relationship and insights with regional distributors for the complete CSST Europe product portfolio, managing the sales process and participating in building sales plans and diversification strategies at regional level. At CSST, we are processing raw materials in our plants and manufacturing a comprehensive collection of value-added ingredients dedicated to the food & beverage, papermaking & corrugating, pharmaceutical, and animal nutrition industries using a reliable and sustainable supply chain. In the nutrition space, we focus on fiber and protein innovations, while our industrial offerings are designed to supply renewable solutions that drive value for our customers. Our portfolio includes sweeteners, starches, lecithins, carrageenans, pectins and biopolymers.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead interactions with assigned group of distributors at regional level to grow our business in line with the strategy
  • Manage regional contracting and ensure a strong opportunities and projects pipeline.
  • Participate in resolving problems and ensuring customers receive high quality service.
  • Review and report on customer retention, business opportunities and market trends.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply


  • 5-10 years of related work experience
  • Experience with food distributors
  • Good knowledge in food ingredient specialty / food industry
