Job Purpose and Impact

The Global Marketing Innovation Manager - Beauty will design and implement a comprehensive product marketing cycle. We seek a professional who will identify market potential, establish market strategies, estimate potential sales, define promotional activities and handle products from introduction through phase-out for our Cargill Beauty division.

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare and coordinate new product introductions and portfolio updates
  • Compile and evaluate research on market trends, product requirements and identify potential launches and enhancements to current features and functionality. Potential sizing of ideation project to validate the market opportunity
  • Value proposition definition, and creation of new product positioning anchored in strong customer insights. Integration of ingredients technical data into story telling for the commercial team to be trained and the customers to be sold to
  • Coordinate program planning with customers to identify manufacturing schedules, goals, design criteria, costs and similar considerations. Collaterals and marketing tools development to support the promotion plan for launch.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry specialized in personal care ingredients OR equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of four years of related B2B work experience
  • Experience in the cosmetic, personal, or beauty care industry
  • Understanding or background on cosmetic formulations, processes or ingredients

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing strategy and executing new product line activities across a product line portfolio
