At Cargill Animal Nutrition we provide customized animal nutrition solutions to customers across the Americas, Europe and Asia. We operate some of the most technologically advanced plants in the world, but they can't run by themselves - we depend on creative, responsible, hardworking individuals like you. At Cargill we have a culture of safety, our goal is to return everyone safely back to their loved ones every day.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Operate equipment throughout facility such as mixers, mills, grinders, pumps, etc.
  • Supervise tank inventory and input and record data in computer software
  • Collect product samples, utilizing lab equipment as necessary
  • Receive and manufacture products to ensure that they meet specifications
  • Assisting maintenance personnel in completing preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance by installing, maintaining, testing, evaluating, and repairing various components and systems
  • Operate forklifts and loaders
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements:
  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
  • Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.
  • Must be able to comprehend/communicate in English (read/write)
  • Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, open/close valves, shoveling, pounding with hammer, lift up to 55lbs.
  • Able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold with our without reasonable accommodation; using appropriate PPE
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work in elevated areas
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Possess a driver license or ability to acquire license
  • Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts with advance notice

Preferred:
  • High School diploma or Equivalent.
  • Experience in fast-paced manufacturing related work.
  • Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment
