Job Purpose and Impact

Digital Saathi, an agtech venture part of Cargill Digital Business Studio is looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist. Our vision is to improve the farmers livelihood with mutual stability across the value chain.

The Marketing Communications Specialist will increase the reach and impact of the designated business to become the partner of choice for present and future customers. In this role, you will develop high value and influential content, lead communications and optimize the execution and implementation of the marketing activations at the product line level to inspire customer interactions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop the branding and communication strategy for the designated business targeting customers, in alignment with the commercial goals, with the end goal to be positioned as the partner of choice among our customers.
  • Develop content from idea to execution, including communication, trade marketing, sales materials, product launches, value propositions, online and offline advertising, promotions, sponsorships, workshops, trade fairs, employee communications, newsletters, websites and social media.
  • Provide input to the overall commercial marketing and communication vision.
  • Responsible for budget allocated and to measure, test, track and report performance metrics.
  • Lead the marketing communication strategies for the designated business and country and implement and coordinate a strong social media strategy targeting customers.
  • Advise product line commercial marketing managers on the execution of their activations and on developing effective and efficient communications with the end goal to strengthen value propositions and ensure consistency in communications towards customers.
  • Lead customer meetings and ensure the utilization of customer insights, collaborate with the sales and technical services teams, with the end goal of coaching customers in the development of their innovation and marketing strategies.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Years of experience: 8 - 10 years
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Rural marketing experience (offline and digital)
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in agency marketing
  • Brand building and communications experience
  • Start-up experience
