Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory Technician (FSQR), is a vital role in the daily operations of our facility. The primary accountability for this position will be to monitor facility operations, conduct required audits and tests for food safety and quality, train employees to follow company procedures and USDA regulations, monitor SOPs, SSOPs and HACCP programs, assist with review of current procedures, specifications, and SOPs. Control product that does not meet specifications, document information and perform special projects as requested by supervisor. While performing the duties of Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory Technician (FSQR), the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces; moving mechanical parts; fast paced hot/cold environment. Positions require standing the entire shift and the use of PPE is required in all areas of the facility.
Principal Accountabilities
  • Verify product is produced to specifications and operation of monitoring equipment
  • Collect samples for chemical and microbiological testing
  • Complete documentation efficiently and accurately
  • Monitor production practices to ensure compliance with GMPs and SOPS
Required Qualifications
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Microsoft Office experience
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Previous food safety, quality, or food manufacturing experience
    • Previous Cargill experience
    • Work history in the past 12 months
