Finance Associate Rotational (FAR) Program:

During each rotation, you will tackle real challenges, cultivate your curiosity, have client exposure, enjoy both personal and team accomplishments and have your initiative acknowledged along the way.

The FAR Program is a three-year rotational program, with 12 months spent in each rotation. Our rotational program is the primary source for the next generation of Cargill Finance leaders! In the FAR Program there are two tracks participants will enter into: the Accounting track or the Risk track. The Accounting track is the main track where majority of participants will join. In this track you will gain strong foundational skills within the accounting space of Corporate Finance at Cargill.  Our goal is to develop the next generation of Accounting & Finance leaders at Cargill by exposing them to a wide set of unique skills and leadership opportunities typically not afforded early in a career. Our program is an ideal and unique opportunity for those driven individuals seeking a wide breadth and depth of accounting and business knowledge.

Accounting Track:
Each participant will begin their first rotation in a cost accounting role at or supporting one of our production facilities. This year one rotation will give participants exposure to the heart of Cargill's businesses and gain core foundational experiences. After year one participants will relocate to Minneapolis or Wichita for the remainder of the program moving into an Accounting & Reporting role, then rotating into either Corporate Accounting & Finance, Management Information & Decision Support, or Tax for their final rotation. These rotations are subject to change based on business or program need

Over the course of three years, participants in the FAR Program will rotate through three roles on varied Accounting & Finance teams. This unique opportunity to see three distinct roles over three years, and work with a variety of Accounting & Finance leaders, provides our participants with a broad network and the competitive edge necessary to excel throughout their careers. After successful completion of the three-year program, participants will find a permanent placement within the Corporate Finance areas.

Program Highlights:
