Processing Engineer
Job Purpose and Impact
The Process Engineer II will apply process and project engineering techniques to assist in the improvement of manufacturing processes and products. In this role, you will provide technical support, operations experience, continuous improvement techniques and project management skills in a plant support capacity to ensures safe, efficient and low cost plant operations
Key Accountabilities
• Develops Process Flow Diagrams (PFD’s) , Layout and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s) etc
• Coordinates technical, pricing, estimating and scoping for project design & construction, ensure proper constructability of the project
• Support strategic processing supplier resources , directs and supervises third party engineers.
• Contributes to the preparation of project design & construction budgets and project schedules, prepares or directs preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies and designs for project.
• Assist with project engineering, sizing, design and overseeing contractors and safety. Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Visits construction site to monitor progress and other duties as assigned by Engineering Director.
• Project execution technical support on designing, major equipment sourcing, FAT, installation quality control and document management
• Responsible for Commissioning & start up takeover and transit it in operation,project final evaluation and acceptance。Support processing on operation, reliability & maintenance and problem solving
• Contribute to CPC standards and Best practices, ensure that projects are prepared in line with Cargill Leading Practices, policies, guidelines, national and international norms and standards. Ensure that these Cargill Leading Practices, policies and guidelines are kept up to date with lessons learned and experiences from the project.
• Review and assess current manufacturing equipment and processes, recommend manufacturing equipment and processes designed to be efficient, cost effective and promote quality and reliability. and makes recommendations for changes.
• Review key performance indicators and monitoring systems and identify ways to improve the ability to maintain company operations.
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor degree on Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum of Six years of related work experience, at least 2 years on the Process project and operating
• Be familiar with high automated food processing system, be familiar with electric and mechanical engineering.
• Good communication skill, be able to work both independent as well as in a teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with operations data and design programs and applications
• Six sigma green belt certification six sigma
• Lean certification
• Experience and skills leading moderately complex projects
• Strong data analysis capabilities including continuous improvement experience or certifications
