Scale House Operator - Seasonal

This is a 4 - 6 week (depending on the season) term position with around 40-60 hours/week at the Carman, MB facility starting in May 2021. The Scale House Operator is responsible for data entry and some operational and administrative tasks.
Shift: flexible, including evenings and weekends.
Compensation: $18.00 CAD / hr.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Constant radio communication with warehouse personnel
- Interact with office personnel (CSR’s/IT)
- Working with truck drivers
- Booking in trucks
- Releasing trucks
- Answering the phone and attending at reception (receiving visitors and clients)
- Customer Service
- Filing
Required:
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old
- Must be able to read/write English
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to work holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently (without supervision)
Preferred:
- Prior experience in production related work
- Class 5 Drivers License
This Seasonal position is located in Carman, MB; however please expect receiving calls from a 204 area code in case you are considered. Relocation assistance is not provided.
