Utilities Supervisor

Job Purpose and Impact
The Utilities Supervisor will direct the repair and plant utilities including boilers, Ammonia Refrigeration equipment, machinery or instruments. We seek a professional who will focus on technical and operational activities and align and implement reliability practices and programs. In this role, you may be involved with fabrication, installation or replacement of equipment.
Key Accountabilities
- Coach and mentor staff and contribute to diagnose more complex problems with machinery or equipment.
- Monitor the quality of work to ensure compliance to safety procedures and ensure the safety of our employees.
- Resolve maintenance priorities based on established plans to ensure resources are used effectively and work schedules and targets are met.gets are met.
- Supervise maintenance activities to minimize production downtime and disruptions.
- Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum one year of directly related work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- One year of supervisory experience
