JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

The Technical Lead, Pork will provide advice and consultation to our internal and external stakeholders about the best nutritional solutions and technologies, by partnering and working alongside the local commercial and technical teams. We seek a professional to fulfill this crucial role that will enable the business to enhance its commercial growth by bringing its best technology to an exclusive set of prospects.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead and manage strategic innovation trials and projects  and provide expertise in assessing new business opportunities and setting priorities in our innovation pipeline
  • Provide expert nutrition information to our customer base
  • Develop and deliver training to internal and external stakeholders including sales, strategic marketing and technology team and customers
  • Identify trends and contribute on portfolio renewal and participate in strategy setting enabling us to deliver on business promises
  • You will work under minimal supervision and independently handle complex issues while referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff
  • Other duties as assigned

This position will be a remote home-office-based role located in the United States

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

  • Experience with a research process in a cross -functional environment

  • Experience presenting research results for both technical and non-technical internal and external audiences

  • Ability to travel up to 15%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree or PhD degree in veterinary, animal nutrition, or related animal science discipline
