Job Purpose and Impact

The Order Management Technology Product Owner represents the stakeholders of the function's technology solutions and will be the voice of the customer within product design, deployment and continuous improvement efforts. In this role, you will partner collaboratively with business stakeholders, information technology and internal and external support partners to oversee, lead and monitor technology enablement activities to ensure the delivery of successful platform adoption, end user satisfaction and business value.

Key Accountabilities

  • Focus is to improve our customer experience setting an ambitious and clear vision for Cargill’s future
  • Define, communicate and deploy the product vision in alignment with the organization's defined technology strategy and the business plan.
  • Define the continuous improvement roadmap with input from our customers, key business and technology stakeholders and increase solution adoption with a focus on overall value creation.
  • Lead businesses through technology readiness assessments, identifying barriers and risks to success while setting expectations for delivery and value.
  • Create, maintain and improve a standard approach for technology deployments and tracking the value of these
  • Define an appropriate data and analytics strategy and collaborate with the enterprise and central data partners and engage data process owners to acquire the data required to reach desired outcomes and generate insights that our customers are asking for.
  • Build and leverage global communities of practice, establishing a network of end users and subject experts.
  • Align businesses on change adherence and maturing progression and in the event of gaps, collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders to identify optimization needs, propose a resolution approach and connect the business to resources to reduce costs or drive growth.
  • Partner collaboratively with information technology stakeholders to define, prioritize and monitor ongoing enhancements and feature releases and to proactively identify new and leverage existing functionality in more advanced ways.
  • Provide expert consultative guidance for initiating strategic long-range goals and objectives. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
  • Other duties as assigned.



  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Experience in digital solutions

  • Experience in order management, customer service, commercial or related experience

  • Minimum of eight years of related work experience


  • Product or project management experience

  • Experience leading customer focused software implementations

  • Experience with various order management technologies

  • Minimum of two years experience deploying technology applications.

  • Experience with Order Management technology: Contact Centers, SAP, Intelligent Automation, EDI, RPA
