Job Purpose and Impact

The Benefits Analyst II will help develop and/or administers employee benefits programs and implement new programs. You will collaborate with business managers and human resources regarding benefit issues, activities and policies. We seek an individual to evaluate our current programs using research, surveys and analysis of benefits trends to ensure our plans are competitive and current.

Key Accountabilities

  • Implement and administer cost-effective benefits programs such as pension plans and life, health and disability insurance.
  • Advise managers and employees on state and federal employment regulations, collective agreements, benefit policies, personnel procedures and classification programs.
  • May provide counseling and communicate benefits to employees.
  • Analyze business or financial data.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
  • Use benefit principles, theories and concepts for benchmarking, research and analysis.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in a high level of compensation analysis, Business intelligence tools and Excel skills (e.g. JAVA, Excel, Regression analysis, etc. tied to position).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 to 9 years of experience in operations and/or human resources within the country
  • Experience in employee benefits-India market within various industry.
  • Have exposure in the area of benefit management in the location and understanding of applicable legislation and complexity
  • Experience anticipating issues, problem solving and implementing solutions, including referring critical issues to the appropriate level of management, and improving efficiency, quality, cost and productivity
  • Experience positively influencing and collaborating while engaging the full scope of their teams
  • Demonstrated basic to medium business acumen. Knowledge of some businesses, functions, and processes as well as good knowledge of business and functional issues.
