Government Relations Senior Manager
Position Purpose & Summary
The Public Relations Senior Manager will guide and represent the company on legislative and regulatory affairs with elected officials and government officials in regulatory agencies. We seek a senior professional who will build and maintain relationships with governments, trade associations, industry coalitions, public services and other authorities to influence policies and positions.
Build, maintain and develop the company’s relationship with key governmental or quasi-government organizations at central level
Ensure the company’s exposure with the central government especially at high-level of the key government stakeholders through various programs
Prepare and organize forums and gatherings with government officials to exchange ideas and information on business activities and potential legislation that may affect the organization.
Arrange meetings of the company’s executives with senior leaders of the key government stakeholders or participation of the executives in activities that help position the company well in China
Ensure that the organization's interests are represented and protected in legislative proceedings and in the development of market rules and procedures.
Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years of related work experience
Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred he/she has 8+ years government relationship management experience in government or MNC
Good English capability in written and oral
