This full time position is located in Atlanta GA; however please expect receiving calls from a 952 area code in case you are considered. Relocation assistance is not provided.


Primary Duties: 

To operate process that includes mixing, filling, and stacking materials, computer entry into SAP, and general sanitation.


Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Be able to adequately perform the duties of dumping, pulling, and stacking materials
  • Safely operate forklift and other mechanical equipment
  • Execute required processing transactions in SAP on internal computer systems Accurately complete required process documentation
  • Follow GMP’s at all times in all areas
  • Operate shrink wrapping machine correctly and safely
  • Make product labels accurately
  • Complete department sanitation responsibilities
  • Work with others in a team environment
  • Adhere to company hourly attendance policy
  • Assemble and disassemble equipment
  • Work overtime/rotating shifts as required
  • Complete one near miss report each fiscal year
  • Complete one behavior based safety observation each month
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience following standard operating procedures
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and organization skills
  • Demonstrate strong problem solving and decision making ability
  • Demonstrate ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
  • Maintain/obtain Forklift certification
  • Perform daily tasks in a manner to promote and ensure food safety
  • Maintain food safety understanding by actively participating in all site wide food safety trainings


  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.
  • Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc.
  • Ability and willingness to work in elevated areas.
  • Must be able and willing to operate machinery.
  • Must be able and willing to operate heavy equipment.
  • Must be able and willing to read/write English.
  • High School diploma or Equivalent.
  • At least 18 months of experience in production related work


  • Forklift experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
