JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT
The Shift Supervisor will directly monitor staff during production shift. Responsibility for safety, product quality, housekeeping and productivity. Follow the assignment of the superior.
Directly operate or supervise the operation of the whole production line, lead all staff in the shift, including contract workers
Responsible for the safety of people during their shift. Monitor and maintain proper safety requirements in the shift.
Monitor and maintain the product's quality according to the standard.
Train staff on relevant safety, Food Safety Quality Regulatory production to ensure that all staff are trained in accordance with regulations.
You will have some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions, and much of your time is spent completing the same tasks as the subordinate employees.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering or industrial field OR equivalent 2+ Years’ experience in operations/Manufacturing/ Warehouse or product transportation fields.
2+ years’ experience in a supervisory role or leading role.
Excellent leadership and teamwork, strong communication skills and able to communicate with all levels in the plant.
Computes skills (Microsoft Office )
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must be willing and able to work extended hours and weekends as necessary. Flexible schedule adaptability to business needs.
Ability to effectively lead a team of diverse employees with demonstrated leadership.
Proven problem solving, decision-making and organizational skills.
Ability to manage compliance with Environment, Health & Safety and Operations standards and regulations.
Ability to facilitate training.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
Other minimum qualifications may apply.
Knowledge of inventory control, quality management, operating efficiency and budget management.
Specialized knowledge of grain and crop input products and grain handling.
Ability to manage Capital Projects.
Continuous Improvement experience.
Knowledge of government regulations
