We are looking for a new team member as MIDS Senior as Senior Analyst with 1 year. temporary contract  Management Information and Decision Support (MIDS) function is one of the 3 finance functions in Cargill META region along with Accounting & Reporting (A&R) and Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA). Successful MIDS Sr. Analyst candidate will be reporting to MIDS Lead and a key finance partner to A&R, FP&A and Commercial teams. She/he will be responsible for partnering with other functional teams to establish the ongoing development of financial/management reporting that support the business  decisions and strategic goals. Provides necessary financial insight, rigor and analytics on business performance timely and accurate. Understand business strategy and requirements for profitable growth. Use and apply latest technology on complex financial data solutions including visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau. Analyses business results with a forward-looking mind-set addressing opportunities/threats and having sense of urgency. Provides a view on business performance, opportunities and risks. Identification of business optimization opportunities (e.g. EBITDA, Working capital deployed) to then collaborate with FP&A who will prioritize, build action plan and close gaps. Translate data into meaningful business information and communicate with impact.




  • Design and deliver effective financial and management reporting, including defining relevant business performance indicator and frequency, as well as standardizing and optimizing management reporting across the region.

  • Contribute and implement continuous process improvement, including simplifying and optimizing process, improving data integrity, and leveraging technology like Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, SAP.

  • Partners with FPA, A&R, and Businesses to lead the annual planning lifecycle including budgeting, forecasting and monthly management reporting

  • Conduct initial analysis and interpret the results to the business (storytelling)

  • Works with business FPA team to define the expectation and respond to ad hoc requests from FPA commercial teams as per the business needs

  • Collaborate on corporate budgeting process, including expenses controlling, budgeting and management reporting.

  • Responds to complex ad-hoc requests with constructive and high quality solutions

  • Demonstrates strong financial management skills to, evaluate and analyse financial data. Keeps pace with changing relevant regulations, standards, and business factors that may impact financial performance

  • Supports MIDS lead for improving management reporting and implement new ideas and tools in an innovative mindset

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Proficient in both verbal and written English communication.

  • Advanced data analytical skills for use of Microsoft Excel, and Business Intelligence tools.

  • Experienced in working with multiple businesses and/or international business experience.

  • Experienced in leveraging financial and business systems to monitor business activities and aid in decision making.

  • Other minimum qualifications may apply 


  • Master's degree

  • Understanding and experience working with SAP

  • 5-7 years of financial planning & analysis / controlling experience, big 4 audit experience is a plus

  • Effective problem solving experience with understanding of business dynamics

  • Experience with multiple businesses and/or international business experience is a strong plus
