Job Purpose and Impact
The Cargill Environmental Markets (CEM) Senior Market Insights Analyst will plan, direct, conduct and analyze customer oriented market research activities related to carbon credits and water benefits to identify potential customers and markets for products and services. In this role, you will develop and/or maintain CEM’s capabilities for competitive intelligence, market mapping, pipeline management, pricing, business KPI tracking, and segmentation.
Key Accountabilities
- Gather, analyze and interpret marketplace trends and customer data to create marketing and product development strategies related to environmental outcomes.
- Monitor market conditions, trends and competitors to project customer demand and supply needs.
- Analyze and prepare forecasts and recommendations for product preferences, sales coverage, market penetration, market practices and sales trends.
- Research market conditions to identify potential sales of a product.
- Assist with the pricing of carbon credits and water benefits across corporation.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of four years of related work experience.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of carbon credits, water benefits, or sustainability.
- Prior experience in start-up environment.
- Experience working as a liaison across businesses and enterprises.
