The purpose of line service position is to run an automated packaging line to ensure the efficient and effective operations of the line including but not limited to the preform station through to the palletizing robot. Individuals will be considered the expert in the operation and troubleshooting of minor repairs to the packaging line while following all GHP’s, food safety and quality policies and procedures. Work safely throughout the entire facility, inside and outside. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk. The employee is frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, and must be able to understand and communicate instructions. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Run multiple pieces of equipment such as batching mixers and forklifts 

  • Execute on mixing and batching production orders accurately for manufacturing 

  • Ensure quantities of ingredients are used and product quality is maintained 

  • Ingredient Storage management, to include housekeeping, inventory counts, moving ingredients from one storage location to another 

  • Receiving and unloading of bagged ingredients on pallets 

  • Accurate completion of mixing and receiving documents 

  • Participating and implementing FSQR Program (Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory) 

  • Assist in other plant areas as needed 

  • Safety - responsible for safety of themselves and teammate

Required Qualifications

  • Basic math ability (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division)

  • Basic computer skills

  • Availability to work outside of normal shift up to including weekend and off shift hours as needed.

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

  • Must be 18 years or older

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous food manufacturing experience.

  • Previous leadership experience.

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Production experience

  • Work history in the last 12 months
