Job Purpose and Impact

The Business Implementation Director will effectively lead all business implementation activities, ensuring processes, data and information are established and streamlines for successful deployment of various new business initiatives.The primary objective is to institutionalize knowledge related to tropical oils across the supply chain, operations, agronomics, and trading intelligence. This involves systematically capturing, storing, and analyzing the insights generated by our operations to create value for both the business and the broader Cargill organization.

This role will collaborate closely with various functions and stakeholders, particularly with Digital, Technology & Data (DT&D), Process Excellence, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Finance, and Manufacturing & Supply Chain (MSC). It also serves as a key connector in strengthening our business infrastructure, with a leading role in executing the ERP project within the tropical oils business. 

This position will lead all critical path activities such as Planning, Scoping, and Execution across multiple projects and locations. Key elements of Business Implementation include: Change Management, Coaching & Development, Leadership Alignment, Process Governance, Organizational Preparedness, Data Readiness and Technology.

Key Accountabilities

  • Design, build and operate a data war room for the tropical oils business (Palm & Copra). This role will act as akey driver of change, accelerating data maturity across the organization by establishing robust data practices and governance. 
  • Work in cooperation and partnership with DT&D, FP&A, Digital Labs and CASC Digital team to identify, leverage and rapidly implement data analytics capabilities across the business.
  • Lead ERP project management to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget and that achieve expected results.
  • Connect with stakeholders to make sure business needs, expectations and insights are shared with the IT team timely and accurately.
  • Ensure quality, timely business decisions are made by all SME’s/Stakeholders
  • Coaching, Development & Change Management, Oversee capability build of the business project or change leads, including setting up of local Change Agent Network as appropriate.
  • Lead the design, development and execution of Change, Communication and Education initiatives. 
  • Demonstrated project management and leadership capabilities
  • Manages implementation of organizational and business readiness tools/approach
  • Proven ability to capture business requirements from key stakeholders and to embrace and drive change in the organization.
  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies and plans across the program to ensure successful execution.
  • Prepare and drive the business to change both how work gets done and what talent is needed to sustain the change.
  • Lead the project review process by providing stakeholders relevant information to evaluate progress and agree on change and coordinate the deployment of project resources to ensure effective utilization.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 10+ years in SAP, with at least 1 full-cycle implementation as an Implementation Lead or Program Manager.
  • Hands-on experience with implementations, migrations and customizations in SAP (S/4HANA is highly preferred).( Implementation experience for agribusiness and Experience in Commodity Management, Agriculture Contract Management, bulk logistics, and regulatory compliance systems is a plus).
  • General SAP module expertise: Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, EWM, S/4HANA). In depth knowledge of FI/CO is preferred (Familiarity of agriculture specific modules like (CM, ACM, TRM , CTS) is a plus).
  • Integration expertise: Ability to design and manage integrations with non-SAP systems (APIs, middleware like SAP PI/PO, CPI, or third-party connectors).
  • Customization vs. Standardization Decisions : Ability to push back on over-customization, while knowing when exceptions are necessary for current business model.
  • Delivered Project Management experience, well knowledge and practical especially in finance, supply chain, commercial and purchasing as well (all that become the modules of SAP).
  • Change management.
  • Willing to be based in CTO location.
  • Willing to do business trip or travelling accross Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines.
  • Confirmed ability to achieve compromise and conclusion in complex relationships within a matrix, and handle key stakeholders on an ongoing basis
  • Business background with strong process and organizational skill set.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Could speak Bahasa/Melayu since most of our business location in Indonesia.
  • Confirmed results based execution on medium or large scale initiatives
  • Experience leading enterprise resource planning deployment projects
