Job Purpose and Impact

The LATAM PRTP Supplier Relationship Specialist is responsible for supporting the Regional Procurement Operation Lead in the performance of Supplier Management. This person will work closely with front office team manager, Spot Buyer Supervisor, Category Lead, Suppliers and Stakeholders to achieve great goals.

Key Accountabilities

•    Supplier Performance monitoring, collaborating with key stakeholders; 
•    Partner with Front office team, spot buying team and Categories to conduct prompt, thorough and aligning with standard and global processes;
•    Proactively identify and mitigate risks leveraging PO confirmation, delivery and payment on time and compliance; 
•    Update and maintain internal controls to meet the operation metrics and supplier feedback;
•    Collaborating on Service Improvement process and lead actions that involve suppliers;
•    Proactively works on Cargill Tech and process/policy adoption with suppliers;
•    Provide a feedback to the category organization where buying strategies are missing or need improvement;
•    Non-strategic/contracted performance Supplier Management;
•    Follow established procedures to select suppliers for procurement of non contracted materials, goods, services and supplies;
•    Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

•    Bachelor’s degree in a related field;
•    Advanced English;
•    Advanced Spanish;
•    Experience in dealing with suppliers.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS 

•    Computer literacy, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SAP;
•    The ability to influence multiple, complex partners at different levels both internally and externally locally and globally;
•    A keen eye for detail able to identify information for accuracy and relevance, work unsupervised but in a wider team structure.
