Job Purpose and Impact

The Category Buyer for Corporate Materials and Services,  will support multiple country or multiple business sourcing activities. In this role, you will execute complex procurement tasks to provide inputs and supporting the global category strategies.

Key Accountabilities

•    Execute medium and highly complex sourcing events (RFI, RFP, negotiations, contracting)
•    Drive the implementation of regional sourcing decisions and provide support with the implementation of global sourcing decisions.
•    Provide inputs to the global category team for category strategy development and execution.
•    Provide comprehensive understanding of regional stakeholder and procurement landscape.
•    Monitor continuous regional supplier and stakeholder relationships.
•    Follow established procedures to select suppliers for procurement of noncontracted materials, goods, services and supplies.
•    Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
•    Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
•   Minimum of two years of related work experience, incl. proof of conducted negotiations and sourcing projects / vendor management.
•    Good understanding of contracting language and its interpretation and contract negotiation process
•    High ethical standards
•    Mastery in English and local language with excellent communication skills including presentation and negotiation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

•    Preferred experience with indirect spend categories (HR services, Contingent Labour, Professional Services) is a plus.
