Job Purpose and Impact

We are seeking a Corporate Development Associate who will support the Director in leading all mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and joint venture transactions (“MADJV”) in the APAC region. You will be involved in all processes including but not limited to project management, co-ordination of due diligence, building financial models, reviewing transaction documents as well as co-ordination of internal and external project teams. 

Key Accountabilities

•    With guidance from your Director, independently drive MADJV projects from end to end at daily basis.
•    Think and plan overall timeline, set up internal or external milestone meetings as well as regular calls. Updating and tracking project timeline, scheduling, recording and following-up on project meetings, and coordinating with internal and external parties.
•    Prepare transaction related materials such as internal and external presentations, financial models, project management materials.
•    Independently handle complex issues with reasonable supervision, while escalating the complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•    Bachelor’s degree. 3-5 years of related work experience in an investment bank, private equity or 5-7 years from big four M&A advisory team;
•    Solid investment bank technical skills, including but not limited to project management, modelling capabilities, understanding of finance and accounting and structure of transaction related legal documents;
•    Extraverted and proactive, excellent communication skills. Calm personality, logical over emotion;
•    Able to handle pressures, work over-time if necessary and multi-tasking. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•    Closed M&A credential which candidate played a key role to it are good reference of experience;
•    No industry preference;
•    CPA or CFA is a plus but not necessary.
