This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Shipping Coordinator will conduct inventory and transportation logistics activities at a field site. This role will manage inbound and outbound traffic at the site for the distribution of packaged and bulk trucks. Carriers will rely on this role to provide the necessary paperwork and direction while on-site.
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate loading and unloading of trucks (check –in and shipping within SAP).
- Complete goods/services receipt processes in SAP (service entry sheets).
- Serve as local contact for carriers (pre-load coordination, product availability queries).
- Manage office and housekeeping supplies (as applicable).
- Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to the appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, secondary education level, or equivalent.
- Minimum of four years of related work experience.
- Ability to work with computer-based logistics applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP software experience.
- Warehouse and/or Logistics experience.

Position Information
- Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
- This is an onsite job in Savage, MN.
- It is a part-time job (20 hours per week in the afternoons).
