Job Purpose and Impact

The Facilities Operation Supervisor will ensure safe and reliable facilities operation. In this role, you will develop multiple moderately complex operation and maintenance processes and supervise contractors on safe work execution of administrative activities related to maintenance and repair, vendor management, security procedures and office inventory.

Key Accountabilities

  • Oversee operations and maintenance of all onsite utilities: electricity, air, gas, water, fire, wastewater services and other utilities as assigned to ensure efficient operations of the plant.
  • Provide direction and guide the team on daily maintenance work including third party key partners.
  • Monitor and interpret moderately complex contracts for services and makes recommendations for approval.
  • Provide input and guide the team to implement operating procedures and performance metrics that include tracking, analysis and reporting performance in terms of quality, safety, cost and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor the office inventory and ensure that it is maintained and the facilities comply with security procedures.
  • Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Information

Compensation

 The expected salary for this position is $98,000- 115,000. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum one year of directly related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of supervisory experience
