Job Purpose and Impact

The Derivatives Compliance- Senior Analyst will ensure that the organization's activities follow the necessary rules and regulations and comply with legal and regulatory boundaries and jurisdictions. In this role, you will provide advanced business understanding to handle complex compliance support for the assigned business line  Role will have emphasis on supporting the compliance to global reporting of regulatory transactions, assisting in regulatory audits and compliance testing processes.  Significant time will be spend supporting Cargill’s registered swap dealer. 

Key Accountabilities

  • With limited supervision, vet proposed transactions, taking into account internal guidelines as well as outside regulatory requirements to mitigate risk. 
  • With limited supervision, ensure that all activities comply with regulatory requirements,  Including applicable regulatory reporting compliance and regulatory filings 
  • Administer defined procedures, analyses and report preparation. 
  • Work with more senior staff when dealing with complex issues, larger clients, accounts, projects, analyses, or internal relationships. 
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff. 
  • Ensuring compliance with reporting of transactions including running daily, weekly and monthly processes. 
  • Providing assistance to the annual testing program for the compliance program 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience 
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience 
  • Knowledge of commodity trading and commodity regulatory rules 
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply
