The Role

We are currently have a great opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join the Cargill Agriculture & Supply Chain (CASC) in Melbourne on a 4 month contract with the possibility to move to a permanent role.


Job Purpose and Impact

The Customer Service Representative will be a key player in a small, high performing team. The role is responsible for providing superior support and service to our sales teams and customers over the busy harvest period.

Key Accountabilities

  • Supporting our product lines with administration of contracts.
  • Outbound calls to grower customers to resolve issues or obtain information.
  • Providing high standard of customer service to grower customers via Inbound calls.
  • Report on team performance metrics and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team-based environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience and skills

Having come from a similar background, you will have:

  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Experience in Agriculture (preferred)
  • Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stay organised and effectively prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, team player.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience
  • MS Excel proficiency
