Job Purpose and Impact
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee a team that executes procurement activities within a moderately complex procurement organization. In this role, you will supervise employees who use equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, hand carts and power trucks to move materials and finished products or goods.
Key Accountabilities
- Oversee the receiving and storage of supplies and materials.
- Assist in selection of appropriate containers protection methods for materials to be shipped or stored.
- Coordinate with shippers and manufacturers to ensure all packing requirements are met.
- Supervise employees who maintain records and check invoices and bills of lading.
- Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of supervisory experience
