Job Purpose and Impact

The Electrical/Mechanical Reliability Engineer will provide advanced knowledge and technical expertise to deploy continuous improvement in process and asset reliability through the detection and elimination of defects. In this role, you will contribute to deliver the optimization of equipment maintenance and technical aspects of reliability engineering strategies.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support complex reliability excellence activities and identify and prioritize reliability engineering value creation opportunities.
  • Ensure the implementation of the strategic development of asset reliability centered maintenance applications.
  • Perform technical reviews of complex projects and collaborate with related areas on new equipment reliability specifications.
  • Execute the identification and elimination of bad actors and the optimization of equipment availability.
  • Participate in the development, design and installation of predictive maintenance programs and technology applications to identify and eliminate defects.
  • Oversee the specific lubrication program to ensure refinement.
  • Partner with and provide guidance to maintenance repairs and production in reliability related processes and the identification of critical spares.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Manage MRO, Critical Spares, and Execute on Base Capital.
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • 3+ years of experience of industrial maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory experience in industrial maintenance roles
  • Training in predictive maintenance technologies
  • Certified maintenance reliability professional or similar maintenance reliability technical certification
  • Capital Project Management experience
  • Experience with the use meters(voltmeter, amp clamp, process meter, and megger)
  • Troubleshooting Motor Control Centers(MCC)
  • Knowledge of PLC's inputs and outputs
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drives
  • Knowledge in 4-20mA
  • Electrical motor install and troubleshooting

Applicant Information

The expected salary for this position is $115k- $141k. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
