Job Purpose and Impact

The Supply Chain Planning and Trade Execution Team Lead will supervise High seas trade execution, trading and short term planners, leading diverse Supply Chain aspects for our production facilitates to trading terminals and worldwide commodity imports and exports. In this role, you will lead a team that lead our monitors key integrated business planning performance indicators, cost to serve performance data and help to coordinate cross functional work teams. You will be part of a very energetic team were team spirit is key.  The Bio-Energy business has been constantly growing over the past years and hope to continue to growth, but also phase of focusing on creating stability and strong processes.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead and develop a team of 12 persons (today), coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions. 
  • Conduct performance management, talent development, succession planning and engagement.
  • Provide input for continuous improvement initiatives which results in costs savings 
  • Using substantial knowledge and robust experience, define the Supply Chain strategies, incorporating other relevant strategies.
  • Provide input to sourcing decisions and challenge status quo if needed 
  • Provide input to projects in different areas (growth, processes, digitalization, data, execution etc.)  
  • Maintain relationships with our critical partners in our external network
  • Review and publish Supply Chain metrics targets e.g. Storage rotation, utilization, costs, process measures etc. 
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

  • Hands on leader able to swift from operations to strategic thinking 

  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • Seven years of experience with at least three in Supply Chain 

  • Demonstrated strong communication skills with the ability to positively influence stakeholders 

  • Pro-active and growth mindset

  • Broad, end-to-end Supply Chain experience – planning, logistics, customer service

  • Knowledge of biodiesel / energy / chemicals business 

  • Average in Dutch 

  • Two years of supervisory experience
